My teaching philosophy emphasizes creativity, inclusivity, and the ability to challenge conventional wisdom. The most pressing security questions of the 21st century -- from war to climate change -- are ultimately political questions. I hope that students leave my class more passionate about politics, armed with stronger rhetorical and analytical skills to address these questions.
